Flax rope

General

Flax rope is a natural rope manufactured from 100% flax yarn. Flax rope is a 100% natural product and therefore 100% biodegradable and soft to the touch. The rope shrinks when wet.

In the past, flax rope was often used in shipping, but nowadays it is primarily used for the rigging of classic vessels. Flax rope is also much used as climbing ropes, towing ropes and rope handrails. Its natural appearance makes it an ideal decorative rope.
