General

Sisal string is made from the agave plant, which originates in South-East Africa and Latin America. The string is pale or yellow in colour, highly flexible and easy to knot. Sisal expands in dry conditions and contracts in a humid environment. It yellows with age and extended exposure to UV.

We offer a wide range of options for composing your sisal products, in any combination of the parameters below. Sisal parcel string is widely used in the packaging industry and by youth movements as lashing twine. As a natural twine, sisal is 100% biodegradable.
